The partnership with NetApp for the ONTAP AI solution is a natural fit. To complement NVIDIA’s top-of-the-line processors, NetApp empowers NVIDIA’s AI capabilities by supporting the volumes of data the processors analyze with ONTAP AI.
The ONTAP AI reference architecture is NVIDIA DGX-1 and DGX-2 processors, and within each of those are V100 GPIUs. ONTAP AI uses the NetApp AFF cloud-connected flash systems and Cisco Nexus 3232C 100GB Ethernet switches. The result is a powerful, enterprise-ready solution for AI.
