We were pleased to host more than 400 Women in Technology Luncheon and panel discussion attendees during the 2018 conference.  This year, we are doing more to raise the profile of all women presenting at NetApp INSIGHT. We want to highlight the sessions led by women in our special Women In Tech agenda track and encourage you to add this track to your agenda. We are building a community of WIT speakers with workshops and activities that started months before INSIGHT.

These community efforts are designed to build and strengthen the WIT speaker community across NetApp. We have included presentation feedback, support and social coaching for other key events. Our WIT speaker community members have presented during the recent 2019 Grace Hopper Celebration, the Women of Color Conference, and HACU Annual Conference.  This effort includes support for WIT speakers across these events as well as our own conference, NetApp INSIGHT.

We are excited to host a Celebration of Women in Technology Breakfast on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 to recognize these speakers and participants, as well as encourage executive networking and engagement for attendees.

Joining us for this special celebration is our special guest, Alison Levine, a leadership expert and a history-making polar explorer and mountaineer.  She served as team captain of the first American Women’s Everest Expedition, climbed the highest peak on each continent and skied to both the North and South Poles—a feat known as the Adventure Grand Slam

She is the recipient of the 2019 Ellis Island Medal of Honor which recognizes individuals whose accomplishments in their field and inspired service to our nation are cause for celebration.  Levine is the author of the New York Times best-seller On the Edge: Leadership Lessons from Mount Everest and other Extreme Environments.

For the full list of all Women in Tech sessions offered during NetApp INSIGHT, please view the sessions page. Here are a few of the sessions led by women

We encourage you to add this track of Women in Technology sessions to your schedule during NetApp INSIGHT and look forward to seeing you in Las Vegas.
